Jennifer Aniston Cardio Workout

Jennifer Aniston does a lot of cardio which helps to burn calories and fat, if done correctly.  Below is a great cardio workout you could take to one of Jennifer’s favorite machines:  The Elliptical.

(NOTE:  Make sure you choose an elliptical machine that incorporates your arms into the workout as seen in the picture below.  Utilizing your arms will burn anywhere from 9-75% more calories).

Warm up:  Warm up for 10 minutes at a pace that is comfortable, but where you can feel your heart rate rising

Workout:  Cycle yourself through the following 4 intervals 2 times for a total of 40 minutes:

Cycle 1 – steady state (go at a comfortable pace) for 4 minutes, at minute 5, squat down so your knees are at a 90 degree angle and your weight is in your heels.  Pedal as fast as you are able and hold this for 1 minute.

Cycle 2 - steady state (go at a comfortable pace) for 4 minutes, at minute 5, hop off the machine and perform squat jumps for one minute.  See this video for more information on what a correct squat jump looks like.

Cycle 3 - steady state (go at a comfortable pace) for 4 minutes, at minute 5, squat down so your knees are at a 90 degree angle and your weight is in your heels.  Pedal as fast as you are able and hold this for 1 minute.

Cycle 4 - steady state (go at a comfortable pace) for 4 minutes, at minute 5, hope off the machine and perform burpees for one minute.  See this video for more information of what a correct burpee looks like.

Cool Down:  Steady state (go at a comfortable pace) for 10 minutes
